I tried to do it myself by painting the LEDS with a sharpie. That resultet in smoke and the paint burnt off.

Then i tried making small plasticcovers around the LEDS. They meltet.

Then i tried with tape and that started to smoke as well.

Would like to make a quick and easy solution and not buy a real dimmer to install before the transformer.

not all LED fixtures are dim-able since many run off of a transformer, your best bet for the correct answer would be to contact the manufacturer and ask them

You can buy dimmer switched at wallmart, and they are pretty easy to install with a few youtube tutorials.

TURN OFF ALL POWER TO THE HOUSE BEFORE INSTALLING.

It's not fun to be electrocuted.
